CAA checker

See which Certification Authorities may issue for your domain, before you order.

What is CAA? A DNS record that says which Certification Authorities may issue certificates for the domain. Without a CAA record, any CA can. If the domain has CAA and the chosen CA is not listed, issuance is refused. For our certificates, authorise actalis.it and certum.pl (Asseco):
company.eu. CAA 0 issue "actalis.it"
company.eu. CAA 0 issue "certum.pl"

Only public DNS records are queried. We do not store the domain.

By API or with AI assistants. This check is available in the public API (caa/check) and on the MCP server as check_caa.
